Did you know that the library also

• In the library we also provide a free service for housebound customers, this is a way even though they can’t leave the house that they can still receive the library service. The books are picked on the customers preference and we have friendly volunteers that would deliver loans to their door. The volunteers will be happy to chat to the customer about the books and listen to any suggestions from the customer. All they need to do is call the library and we can provide them with more information.
• Lends DVDs, spoken word cassettes and spoken word CDs (“Talking books”) and runs a special offer of rent three for the price of two and get the cheapest one free on Fridays
• Has an electronic index of every book available in Kent libraries
• Has a photocopier for the public’s use and faxing service
• Public access internet PCs, assistance of web wizards to help you get online (just ask to book a session), plus occasional internet taster sessions
• Keeps careers information, public records, the Parish Council minutes
• Has information on local events, transport, organisations
• Has a dedicated children’s area
• Has a battery recycling facility.
