I’m Jemma Braidwood Lewis, Volunteering & Community Engagement Manager for English Heritage (South: Kent & Sussex). One of the sites I’m lucky enough to look after is Bayham Old Abbey and we have been looking at ways in which we can engage & open up the site for our local community.
With this in mind, the proposed use of the site/building is to extend an invitation to creatives to use the Dower House (Dower House Arts Quarter – “Creativity, Tranquillity and Culture”) at Bayham Old Abbey, Tunbridge Wells as a creative, cultural hub for the local community. Welcoming all to use the space for creative output, exhibitions and/or workshops. Please do read and share with your friends, family and any groups/individuals who may wish to express interest.
Thank you so much for your time, if you have any questions please do contact us – dowerhouseresidencies@english-heritage.org.uk or contact me personally, Jemma.braidwoodlewis@english-heritage.org.uk
