Pembury Village Events Diary

Richard Snow has taken over responsibility for updating the Village Diary, which can be viewed at www.pembury.org

The diary serves two purposes. Firstly to enable event organisers to check the diary before arranging an event to avoid some clashes. Secondly to enable everyone to know what is happening in the village. It is important that information is sent to Richard at events@pembury.org with date, times, title of event, venue and contact details.

The www.pembury.org diary will go live on 1st Feb.

See the A21 today

Work has started to rebuild the A21 between Pembury and Tunbridge. I used to drive up and down this stretch of road every day. The new alignment will be a little bit different to what you see today. Already the ‘landscape’ has been altered with the felling of a lot of the undergrowth and trees that I remember crawling past start stop fashion every weekday.
