Pembury Larder

Pembury friends: The Food Larder will be in huge demand over the summer holidays.

There are children in our village who rely on free school meals for their only square meal of the day.

During these long six weeks some families struggle greatly to find the extra money needed to feed their children and, together with managing a few treats in the holidays and buying new school uniform, this can be an enormous strain.

The larder is quite empty at the moment so, if you are able to, please consider donating a tin or two over the next few weeks. Popular foods include tinned meatballs, pasta, tinned meat, rice etc.

Donations can dropped off direct to Pembury Baptist Church during office hours.

Thank you.

See the Pembury Larder on the Pembury Baptist Church website for full details.
