Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery are holding a free fabulous food day on Saturday 29 October. Themed around spices, the day includes a chance to make and taste different foods from all around the world.
During the day there will be opportunities to taste traditional foods from Kent, the Caribbean and India. Visitors will be able to find out about the use of spices past and present, and to try a spice-smelling challenge.
There will be a chance for visitors to make their own smoothie using pedal power, plus an opportunity to try making pasta.
Younger visitors will enjoy making a spice pot in the busy arts and crafts workshop. Visitors will also be able to discover and perhaps take a historic or contemporary recipe to make at home.
The event is at Tunbridge Wells Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday 29 October. This free event is open to everyone but children under the age of 11 must be accompanied at all times.
